What makes me feel great

I got the following email from Deborah and it made my entire day (week..). Positive feedback for everyone!
I cannot resist sharing it with all of you, I am proud.

Hi Timea,

I am not on Tripadvisor or Facebook (I know…too old school).
However, this was my review if you can or choose to post it on your website. Thanks again for the fantastic tour!

“Our family of three adults thoroughly enjoyed our recent 4-hour Budapest Jewish Walking tour with Timea. If you have an opportunity to book a tour with her, definitely do so. We highly recommend it.

Her tour will cost more than traditional tips-based walking tours but it was well worth it for us as we received personalized attention, was able to access places that larger groups simply cannot, and we could ask more in-depth questions. For people who are wanting a more thorough, personalized tour, this is a must!

Timea was an outstanding tour guide: she provided excellent communication both before and after our tour, detailed instructions, was on time, and was professional and warm. She is an absolute delight. We learned so much about the Jewish history, traditions, religion, life before, during and after the Holocaust, and about current life both in the Jewish Quarter and in Budapest. Timea shared personal stories about her Jewish grandparents’ experiences and her own experiences growing up in communist Budapest. We asked Timea questions about politics, economics, and religion (which can be potentially difficult to answer) and she provided her honest opinions and thoughts which we greatly appreciated.

Timea showed us details about the Jewish Quarter which we would have missed on our own. Later, as we walked the area ourselves, we recognized them and saw the neighborhood with a more enlightened view. She also took us to the Kadar Eatery for delicious traditional Hungarian food and even took the time to graciously order for us. We also ate at Noe’s Cafe for coffee and traditional Hungarian pastries. We ate again at both places because they were so good and well-priced! We even randomly ran into Timea a day later and she greeted us like life-long friends and not prior clients. Our son who is well traveled said Timea’s tour was one of the best he’s been on and was among the top highlights of our trip. We completely agreed with his assessment.”

We loved our two day tour with times! She was flexible when our plans changed which is great when traveling with teens.her background and knowledge are something that were lived not just learned you can’t replicate that. She was awesome we highly recommend her as did our friends did to us.

We had an amazing tour of the Jewish Quarter and Jewish history in Budapest with Timea. I can’t say enough praise for her. It was the most meaningful and memorable part of our trip to Budapest. This was our first time booking a private tour, and it was well worth it. Timea is warm, bright, sensitive, and knowledgable. She showed us parts of Budapest and the Jewish history there that are not covered on typical tours. She has personal connections and family stories, and by sharing them, it enriched our understanding the Jewish history in Budapest. After the tour, she sent us links so we could read more and have additional information on areas of particular interest. We had hours of interesting conversation with Timea, and felt very close to her by the time the tour ended. We highly recommend her. She is a wonderful person and a fantastic tour guide.
